Håvard, could you introduce Pexip and the activities its involved in?
Pexip is a global technology company delivering a video-first meeting platform with 15% of the Fortune Global 500 companies as customers. All offering is built on Pexip's unique Infinity technology, and are delivered via a recurring subscription-based business model. The Company has more than 300 channel partners located in about 75 countries worldwide. Pexip is now a listed company in Norway with subsidiaries in USA and UK and also employees around the world.
What have been the challenges of working in overseas countries and the hurdles you encountered?
To sit in Norway without any knowledge about local requirements and regulations in the different countries we work in is a challenge. We are dependent on local advice as this is not part of our core competence, nor will it ever be our core competence. As we are growing rapidly, we have to depend on someone who has this as their competence. As a company we have a responsibility that our employees shouldn't worry about the reporting of a salary, pensions etc. to local government.
How is Amesto Global helping you and your team?
We use Amesto Global as our service provider for payroll in Italy and Spain to ensure that Pexip meet the local requirements for reporting of salaries, pay our taxes etc. In addition to this, Amesto Global are responsible for the accounts for our subsidiaries in UK (Pexip Limited) and USA (Pexip Inc.). Amesto Global are responsible for payroll, accounts, tax, VAT etc. in these countries.
What's your view on Amesto Global and its team and services?
Pexip is very satisfied with the services provided by Amesto Global. They always meet their deadlines, they are very responsive when we reach out, they proactively suggest improvements of processes and they always say immediately yes if we ask for something, no matter how short the deadline is. I can't recommend Amesto Global highly enough.
