Our client is a Norwegian headquartered B2S SaaS company expanding outside of the Nordics.

THE CHALLENGE

Our client aimed to expand globally, reaching beyond the Nordics. However, the move into the UK and the upcoming entry into the US presented challenges. Establishing a strong finance function was crucial, especially while raising additional capital and requiring robust reporting across all entities. To tackle this, they enlisted the help of Amesto Global as their strategic partner being familiar with how to navigate the complexities in both the UK and US.

OUR SOLUTION

For the past few years, Amesto Global has delivered tailored solutions to streamline our client's financial operations and mitigate compliance risks. This includes processing invoices, payroll management and filing periodical VAT returns in the UK. For their US operations, we closely monitor tax affairs in collaboration with the client’s tax advisor, ensuring timely sales tax registration and filing. Collaborating with tax advisors and audit firms, we expedite financial audits and tax returns, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Specifically, Amesto Global is delivering the following business solutions:

  • Monthly processing of Supplier Invoices in Xledger;
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts;
  • Preparation and filing of periodical VAT returns for the UK;
  • Monitoring the entity’s tax affairs in close consultation with the client’s tax advisor, specifically any sales tax matters in the USA;
  • Facilitate coordination with the company's US tax accountant to ensure timely completion of Corporate Tax Returns;
  • Liaise with the company’s auditors in the UK and with the group auditor in the US to efficiently conclude the company's financial audit;
  • Perform weekly payment runs for both US and UK entities to ensure payment terms are complied with;
  • Perform Payroll Processing and HR administrative services;
  • Organizing the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to approve the annual financial statements, board resolutions;
  • Filling annual reports at relevant state authorities including handling filing fees;
  • Updating on any change in local regulations that could potentially impact the client’s business;
  • Provide insightful guidance and best practice strategies to manage growth domestically & internationally and mitigate potential issues.
